Dr. Custodio is a former ESL teacher in Columbus, Ohio. She currently works in teacher education at The Ohio State University and Ohio Dominican University as well as serving as a consultant in the areas of literacy, newcomers, trauma, and SLIFE. She is the author of three books on supporting English learners.
