Jeff Piontek is an education thought-leader, author, international speaker and is passionate about educational change and reform. A former public-school teacher, principal and Director of Instructional and Informational Technology for the NYC Department of Education, State Science Specialist for the Hawaii Department of Education and a member of the NGSS review team. Jeff has spent the last 25 years developing a reputation as a leading thinker about technology, social systems and educational change. Jeff has received many accolades in education, but the highest award was received for Innovation in the Economy, presented by the Governor of Hawaii. Jeff has authored books, articles and contributed to many other publications as well as spoken at TEDx.
