Marwa Mekni Toujani, PhD.

Dr. Marwa Mekni Toujani is an Assistant Professor of Linguistics at Higher Institute of Applied Languages and Computer Sciences of Beja (ISLAIB), Jendouba University, Tunisia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English language and literature (minor: Linguistics), a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics (minor: Experimental Psycholinguistics) and a PhD degree in Linguistics (minor: Experimental Psycholinguistics) from Higher Institute of Languages, Tunis (University of Carthage, Tunisia). She has been in the teaching domain since January 2013, and she has taught in
Tunisia, Turkey, and Saudi Arabia. She has taught several EFL, ESP, EAP, and Linguistics courses. She is also a Cambridge English Certified Teacher Trainer. She was a teacher trainer at the EMIST training program in which she participated in the training of the first bunch of Saudi Female teachers under the program of English as a Medium of Instruction in 2022. Her special interests are Experimental Psycholinguistics, English Language Teaching Instruction, and Educational Psychology.
