Nihal Sadek

Nihal Sadek earned her PhD in composition and TESOL from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She currently works as an Assessment Specialist at Educational Testing Service (ETS) where she develops items for the TOEFL iBT reading and writing sections. Her research interests include exploring second language assessment models that promote, and not just measure, learning. Nihal has been an ESL instructor for over 23 years and has taught numerous ESL and academic writing courses in several universities including NYU, UMGC, and Columbia University, USA.
