Originally from Washington D.C., Peter Edwards received his MA in literature from UC Berkeley and his PhD in applied linguistics from the University of Nottingham, in England. He began his career in Poland, and spent 23 years teaching and researching in Korea and Japan. Classroom Dynamics, Willingness to Communicate, Gamification, and Global Citizenship hold some of Peter’s current focus. His work as an English Specialist through the U.S. State Department includes Facebook Live Webinars and a consulting post in Cali, Colombia. He also consults with education programs in Kenya and Rwanda. Peter currently lectures at the English Language Department of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
