Dr. Andre Boyer is an educator and former Peace Corps volunteer. His teaching career began in 1989 while he was in the military and stationed in Japan. Since then Dr. Dre has taught in several countries including China, Estonia, and Georgia. Dr. Dre has also been an English Language Fellow and English Language Specialist with the United States Department of State. In this episode, Dr. Dre shares his approach to facilitating learning in a multi-level classroom. He focuses on these three practical tips to help you build a dynamic classroom environment:

Andre Boyer

Dr. Andre Boyer is an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of working in education, business, and the military. He is skilled in human resource development, leadership, program, project, and financial management, and ESL Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, and Teacher Training.

Andre Boyer worked as an English Langauge Specialist, a U.S. Department of State Program on a virtual English for Specific Purposes project with the Mongolian Special Protection Agency from February 2022 – June 2022. From 2019 – 2021, he worked in various positions at the Defense English Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC) in San Antonio, Texas: Curriculum Flight Chief, Professional Development Specialist, Operations Officer, and English as a Second Language Instructor. Andre was an English Language Fellow, a U.S. Department of State Program, in Estonia from 2017 - 2018. From 2018 – 2019, he served as a Peace Response Volunteer in Georgia. Dr. Boyer was a Peace Corps Volunteer in the People’s Republic of China from 2015 – 2017. From 2004 – 2015, Andre was the Full-Time Faculty with University of Phoenix, Asia-Pacific Military Campus in Japan. Andre Boyer served in the United States Marine Corps for 22 years and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer-3. Dr. Boyer enjoys traveling, watching movies, and playing table tennis.
